I'm always learning

I use a variety of techniques to create my work. I enjoy hand building and throwing with clay.

and  I don't think I could ever get bored of trying out new ideas and techniques for handmade ceramics.

What inspires me

I'm always learning

I'm always learning

I am inspired by nature and the things around me. The seasons each have their  own beautiful colours and textures.

I love wood in its natural state and try to recreate this in some of my work.

I am so lucky to live surrounded by beautiful countryside, a constant source of inspiration.

The Workshop

I can lose myself for hours working with clay. The moment you open the kiln is like Christmas, never quite knowing how the heat will affect the glaze.

Working with clay has a meditative quality and cultivates patience. You have to wait for the clay to dry in order to work with it at various stages.
